Program Description
The AS Theatre Arts degree provides students with a foundation of courses and skills in the theatre arts. The AS Theatre Arts degree stacks with each of the three emphases of the BFA Theatre Arts degree. It also stacks with the BS Theatre Education degree. The AS Theatre Arts degree covers many of the core requirements in the BFA and BS degrees. The elective requirement in the AS allows students to complete the recommended courses in each emphasis of the BFA Theatre Arts degree and in the BS Theatre Education so that they can stay on track for graduation with a bachelors degree in four years.
