Program Description
The Applied Economics, Undergraduate Certificate equips students with strong analytical and quantitative skills to address real-world economic and business challenges. Students gain hands-on experience applying economic theory, data mining, statistical methods, and econometric tools to problem-solving in applied contexts. Coursework emphasizes data analysis, interpretation, and decision-making using modern economic and quantitative approaches. Graduates are well-prepared for careers that require data-driven analysis and are well-positioned to pursue advanced studies in economics, business, or related fields.

Graduation Requirements
- Maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 in all Woodbury School of Business courses, with no grade lower than C- in business courses.
- Complete 21 credit hours as specified in the undergraduate certificate curriculum.
- Earn at least 6 credit hours in residence at UVU.
