Program Description
Degree-seeking students can choose the Leadership by Design minor which builds on the Leadership for Personal and Social Impact Certificate of Proficiency. These flexible course options include opportunities for students to enhance their own levels of resilience, coping and soft skills development, which employers are seeking. These options also include courses that students are already taking for other curricular and co-curricular initiatives and programs, thus maximizing opportunities for students to earn this minor in addition to the other outcomes from their participation in the other programs. Through enhanced self-regulation, experiential learning, and community partnerships, students will progressively move through iterative real-world opportunities and experiences that will position them for top professional jobs or graduate school.
