Program Description

The Leadership by Design Minor leverages the Leadership for Personal and Social Impact, Undergraduate Certificate and additional coursework to  integrate the theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to self-awareness, personal growth, and leadership development. This minor emphasizes foundational principles of leadership, including personal strengths, relationship-building, and community engagement. Students will explore how these concepts apply across professional, volunteer, public, and private sectors, thereby developing competencies in leadership, collaboration, and social responsibility, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to their communities at local, regional, national, and global levels.

2. Earn a minimum 2.5 GPA in all minor course work with no grades lower than a C-.

Program Learning Outcomes
