Program Description
This degree is designed to develop practical leadership skills for a variety of careers in the aviation industry. Courses are based on real world aviation needs and are developed through ties with industry experts. The curriculum will prepare students with a broad range of knowledge and skills, including airline and airport management, aviation security and safety, marketing, aviation finance, human resources, and many others.

Admission Requirements
Students seeking admission to the program will be required to meet the following admissions requirements: (1) completion of ENGL 1010 or ENGH 1005 and 25 aviation credits with a grade of C+ or higher, and (2) an overall GPA of at least 2.5.

Graduation Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 120 or more semester credits, with a minimum of 40 upper division semester credits.
- Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above. Aviation courses require a C- or above. (Departments may require a higher GPA.)
- Residency hours--minimum of 30 credit hours through course attendance at UVU, with at least 10 hours earned in the last 45 hours.
- Students may count no more than 8 credit hours of total cooperative work experience (AVSC 2810R Cooperative Work Experience/AVSC 2850R Cooperative Correlated Class/AVSC 4810R Cooperative Work Experience/AVSC 4850R Cooperative Related Class toward the degree requirements without department approval.
- Successful completion of at least one Global/Intercultural (GI) course and two Writing Enriched (WE) courses.
