Program Description
The Sound Design, Certificate of Proficiency is a mid-level certificate intended for students who want to build on their previous knowledge of audio and expand in the direction of film and television sound design, editing and mixing. Students will learn the basic skills necessary to be a sound designer, sound editor, re-recording mixer, production sound mixer, and picture editor for film and television. It is expected that students already be familiar with basic audio tools such as digital audio workstations (DAW), compressors, equalizer's (EQ), time-based effects, etc.
