Program Description
Diesel Mechanics Technology offers students a two-year AAS Degree program that meets industry standards and practices in the areas of Powertrain/Chassis, Engine/Engine Performance, Electrical/Electronic Controls, Emissions and Fluid Power. All subjects have and require successful completion of both a theory and lab section. Graduates will also obtain diesel mechanic certifications from industry leaders like Cummins, Detroit Diesel, CAT, Peterbilt, and other partners. They will also have met AED standards which applies to the off-road area of the DMT discipline. All certifications and training are maintained current to industry standards and practices.
