Program Description

The Emergency Medical Services Undergraduate Certificate provides an academic opportunity to obtain a job-ready certificate focusing on career education. This program offers emergency medical care training for prehospital and other medical settings. This certificate is available for high school students, college students, and working adults looking for entry-level skills in emergency services.

Graduation Requirements

1. Completion of a minimum of 19 credits.
2. Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above.
3. Residency hours -- a minimum of 5 credit hours (25%) through course attendance at UVU or through UVU Concurrent Enrollment.
