Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration teaches students the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed in first responder, emergency, public safety, security, and disaster work. This degree provides students with competencies to participate professionally at the management through administrative level in mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery from crises and disasters.

Graduation Requirements

Completion of a minimum of 120-semester credits.

Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above, with completion of each Emergency Services class with a "C-" or higher.

Residency hours: a minimum of 30 credit hours through course attendance at UVU, with at least 10 hours earned in the last 45 hours.

Completion of GE and specified departmental requirements.

Successful completion of at least one Global/Intercultural (G/I) course.

Successful completion of at least two Writing Enriched (WE) courses.
