Program Description

The School Health Education, Minor equips secondary education students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to be able to be endorsed to teach health education in secondary school settings. Students will gain expertise in developing and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Utah State Secondary Health Education Core Curriculum. This minor equips future educators with the tools necessary to foster health and wellness among adolescents, preparing them to create engaging, effective health education experiences.
