Program Description
The Art & Design, AAS with photography emphasis is a two-year work-ready degree that helps prepare students for entry level jobs within the photography industry. It provides students an introduction to a variety of photographic approaches including techniques in film, lighting, and digital. This degree and the credits earned are stackable and be used to further their studies in a Bachelor of Fine Arts or other programs.
Matriculation Requirements
Portfolio review required for students seeking the AAS - Art and Design - Graphic Design or Illustration emphasis (The Portfolio Review occurs after the required coursework is completed. Students who do not pass the review may apply the first year of coursework to the AA or AS in Art & Design. Specific requirements are found on the department website.)
