Program Description
The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Hospitality Management is designed to equip students with foundational skills and knowledge for a successful career in the hospitality industry. The program includes coursework in culinary basics, food and beverage management, accounting, and business communication, alongside practical experience through cooperative work opportunities. Students will gain expertise in key areas such as customer service, operations management, and hospitality industry standards, preparing them for a variety of roles within the hospitality sector.

Grade of B- or higher is required for IM 2600.
Graduation Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 61 semester credits.
- Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above with no grade lower than a "C-" in hospitality or other Woodbury School of Business Courses.
- Residency hours--minimum of 20 credit hours through course attendance at UVU; at least 16 credits must be in Woodbury School of Business courses.
- Completion of GE and specified departmental requirements. Students are responsible for completing all prerequisite courses.
