Program Description
The Sociology, Minor offers students a scientific understanding of society by exploring the social contexts in which individuals live, including cultures, social structures, and institutions. Through coursework in social theory, research methods, and human behavior, students develop skills in critical thinking and analysis of social patterns. This minor enhances career opportunities in fields such as journalism, politics, public relations, business, and public administration, where investigative skills and the ability to work with different groups are essential.
