Program Description
Provides students with an interdisciplinary picture of Latin American and Latino culture, language, history, practices, and perspectives. Offers students a comprehensive picture of key events in Latino and Latin American history. Focuses on Latin American and Latino interactions with national, regional, and global political, economic, and cultural systems. Develops students’ communication skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese at an intermediate level. Prepares students for careers in business, government, and non-profit organizations at home and abroad.
