The Spanish-English Translation, Certificate of Proficiency provides students an opportunity to prove their proficiency in Spanish and apply knowledge from other domains to translation (such as health, law, business, etc.). After successful completion, students will have knowledge of important aspects of the translation profession, such as translation techniques and strategies, textual analysis and multilingual writing skills, translation software tools, and careers within the language services industry.
